The National AnthemA live performancePerformed by: Lindy HildLindy Hild is an avid horse person and a professionally trained vocalist. She has performed with the Pittsburgh and Harrisburg Symphony Orchestras, sung with James Levine and performed in lead roles in numerous amateur theatre musicals. Lindy will appear at the Expo all weekend with her Norwegian Fjord mare.

Show YourselfTrue love and trust is rarely experienced between horses and humans, but you’ll witness just that this evening in this beautiful dance between partners.Performed by: Karla Switzer and her horses Mouse and MaggieSince her passion was sparked as a young child, Karla has dedicated every moment to learning about horses. Her first horse Mouse was purchased from a kill pen for just $10. Now, years later, Karla makes the equestrian world her full time job. She successfully trains and competes in a wide range of disciplines including reining, ranch riding, roman riding, trick riding and liberty.

Wings of FreedomWho doesn’t get excited by show jumping? But wait! Something’s missing here – watch closely, you’re going to see show jumping done like none other.Performed by: Unbridled Wings with Brendan Wise and Melanie Ferrio-WiseBrendan and Melanie believe that bridleless riding is not just tricks and liberty, but a viable system for the horse to perform in exhibitions and competitions. Melanie Ferrio-Wise made history by being the first to compete bridleless at the Washington National Horse Show in show jumping with her fiery and faithful mount, “Wings”. Unbridled Wings has gained international recognition and respect As a result of their bridleless achievements.

Spirit of the HorsesBefore horses ran wild on the plains of North America, Native American people gathered in celebration. Elders tell the stories of how the beating of the sacred drum and songs of the first people attracted the curiosity of horses.The Canadian Cow Girls and the First Nations Youth from the Oneida Nation of the ThamesPlease welcome Fancy Shawl Dancer, Andria Dyer of Chippewa on the Thames, World Champion Native American Men’s Fancy Feather Dancer, D.J. Sylvia Zerbini’s Grand Liberte™You will be amazed as the woman in the spotlight is surrounded by a herd of white horses. Sylvia uses verbal and body cues to transform horses at liberty into the ultimate equestrian art form.Performed by: Sylvia Zerbini and her herd of stallions & geldingsSylvia Zerbini is a world renowned trainer and the only presenter that is able to work a herd of 8-10 stallions and geldings all free and at total liberty. Sylvia is a ninth generation performer and most recently starred in the acclaimed equestrian spectacle Cavalia.

Dance of the Northern LightsThe rare phenomenon that paints the northern sky with a surreal show of colors now lights the arena of Theatre Equus.Performed by: The Award Winning Canadian Cowgirl Precision Drill TeamTravel with them to their home in Canada as you witness the breathtaking Dance of the Northern Lights. The Canadian Cowgirls have been recognized at events around the world, including Best Mounted Unit at the Calgary Stampede Parade, the Kentucky Derby Parade and the Tournament of Roses Parade. Welcome Team Captain Terry Jenkins on Freedom, Team President Jackie Bray on Franke, Emma Benoit on Odie, Emma Nevills on Dakota, Emma Crew on Diesel, Appy Pearson on Tio, McKenzie St Peter on Rowdy, Jack Lynn O’Rouke on Cruiser, Natalie Dietz on Orca and Kylee Nevills on Apache.

Mix & MatchThis unlikely trio is a random hitch like no other and from head to tail these unlikely friends will join together to surprise and delight.Performed by: Bee Tree Trail’s David Rohrbach and his Team of ThreeSince beginning his draft horse carriage business, Bee Tree Trail Carriage and Wagon Tours, Dave has mastered the art of driving multiple hitches from basic teams, unicorn, pairs up to 10s, 3, 4 & 5 abreast, 10 & 15 horse pyramids and even 5-horse “suicide”. His knowledge of horses, hitching techniques, harness and mechanical dynamics of carriages makes him a “go to” in the industry.

Daring LegendsHang on tight! Things could get scary, they could get daring, they could get just darn right FUN! Riding two horses at one time, while at daring speeds, excitement is sure to follow!Performed by: Karla Switzer and her equine partners Mouse and MaggieRoman Riding is one of the most difficult disciplines in the horse world. Karla’s horses are not tied together, only their partnership keeps them from splitting apart. Karla Switzer is a horse trainer by trade and her love of the horse is showcased through this roman riding act.
