1. The ‘big picture’ overview: what’s in the structure and narrative of the sequence as a whole. These are sometimes called macro elements:– what it’s about and the story it’s telling– the kind of horror it might come from– the characters and performances of the cast– the particular representations of people, groups, events or ideas, and theirpotential impact on the viewer.
2. The technical aspects of the production, or micro elements, which construct thatimpact:– the use of different camera shots and angles– the lighting and colour tones used in the sequence– the locations, props and mise-en-scène, and their design– the soundtrack– the editing of the sequence.
3. Representation: how these micro technical aspects have been used by theproducers of the trailer to construct ideas and values around the portrayal of horror in social groups, places, events, or debates.

Things which I think is important for
making your trailer easier• Plan what you are going to do and how.• Plan with storyboard and text given to cast so it
easier for them to deliver the performance.• The camera see everything .watch the
background. Go in closer to cut out distractions. Get in closer for better sound.
• Take at least 3 takes. Most actors can’t get it right at beginning. It will help at editing.
• More variety of angles & shot ,easier to do editing and vary what audience sees.
When filming.
• Practice and Practice makes perfect. (get actors to perform and practice early rather than giggling on camera)
• Get crew ready and cast ready with silence on set.• If you can show the camera slate to camera then action• Start camera rolling ,then 5,4,3,2,1 Action .ask actors to
wait 2 seconds then start.
• Get actors to speak up louder than usual and project at camera and audience.
• If you review footage need at least 20 seconds so that previous footage is not cut .
When you finished
• Label all tapes.
• Ensure the tab is moved to not record.
• Return camera and kit and watch battery life or recharge.
• Sign in and sign out all kit with accessories.let me know if it needs charging.
