HS Student drop off and pick up is on the North side between the HS building and the Pavilion. This area is designated to ensure the safety of our students. Please DO NOT drop off students on the highway or outside the entrances to the campus.
Student drivers must register with the security depart-ment to drive a vehicle to school. Local businesses and other public buildings have reported that students are parking vehicles on their property. GUSD does not have authority over other properties. These businesses, on their own accord, may report illegal parking and possi-ble unlicensed drivers to local law enforcement or call to have vehicle towed.
Family link account are available to view grades, attend-ance, and communication with teachers. Please call the school for information about how to access this great resource for parent/guardians and students.
Credit recovery is available for students afterschool Monday—Thursday. Students may visit the Counselor for assistance.
ATTENDANCE MATTERS! Students who exceed 9 absences (excused or unexcused) may receive NO CREDIT for each course. GHS no longer has a credit appeal process and expect all students and parents/guardians to be responsible for attendance.
Food Deliveries are discourage due to the GUSD Food Services efforts to provide a nutritional meal to students at no cost.
Electronic Devices, including earphones/earbuds are only to be used before school, after school, and during lunch ONLY. Confiscated mobile devices may only be returned to the parent or guardian.
Parents and students, please review page 25 of the hand-book regarding the Dress Code. Students are encouraged to dress appropriately for the school setting that posi-tively reflects the educational environment and expecta-tions.
