workshop seriesClient Choice Food PantryHOPEs team, with over 75 years combined experienceworking with people in at-risk communities, along with ourvolunteers establish relationships that help the people weserve become independent with dignity. HOPE has con-ducted multiple trainings for volunteers who mentor peoplein crisis. And HOPE volunteers have given thousands ofhours serving families in need.

Richard Dick Stonich, retired Senior Vice President and
Corporate Secretary of Iberville Bank, has more than 38 yearsexperience in the banking and financial industry. After hisretirement, Dick began volunteering with HOPE as a financialconsultant for our clients and he facilitates Getting Ahead in aJust-Gettin-By Worldworkshop series. Dick is committed tohelping people understand how correctly managing finances
can truly change their life circumstances. With vast experi-ence and knowledge, Dick helps workshop participantsexplore the issues that many families face today in aninteractive, motivating and thought-provoking manner.
Dicks extensive work with the impoverished and his personalhistory with alcohol addiction and subsequent rehabilitationand recovery give him personal knowledge of the strugglespeople in poverty face on a day-to-day basis. He has traveledthroughout the nation speaking to groups through AlcoholicsAnonymous. HOPE Ministries contracts with Dick to instruct
the Understanding the Dynamics of Poverty workshop basedupon his lifelong experience in the financial industry, his ex-tensive work with the impoverished and his personal experi-ence with addictive disorders.
