Life of Confucius Throughout his life, he was

best known as a TEACHER. Traveled to various kingdoms,

preaching to the princes Tried to improve

GOVERNMENT and SOCIETY by convincing rulers to implement and follow his ideas

By the time of his death at the age of 72 he had a total of 3,000 DISCIPLES who carried on his teaching.

Confucius Legacy Long after his death, he

becomes the dominant Chinese PHILOSOPHER, both morally and POLITICALLY. Confucius's teachings were

adopted by the HAN Dynasty as the official moral and political doctrine of the State.
