TOA Overview:
You and your brother are visiting your aunt and uncle in Buenos Aires. In order to make some weekend travel plans, you go online to research the possibilities. After deciding, you call the travel agent to make arrangements. The last thing to do is inform your uncle of the details of the plan.

Description of Task:You and your brother Tommy are spending three weeks at your Argentine uncle and aunt’s house in Buenos Aires. You are very excited to spend some time with your cousins, Pablo and Miguel, and their two friends, Juan and Maxi, all whom speak only Spanish. You have been in Buenos Aires for one week already, so you want to visit another place in Argentina during the upcoming long weekend. You go online to despegar.com and you see three possible tours the six of you can do. Read the information you found in this website and do the activities that follow.

You, the oldest and the only one available right now, are in charge of calling the travel agent. Talk to him/her and decide where to go. Be sure to let the travel agent know about your decision.
Materials Needed: Travel brochure, maps, etc. to simulate a travel agency.
Teacher Notes: The teacher plays the role of the travel agent. Depending on class size, etc, you may have the conversation carried out by two students.

Mention why you are taking this trip, the three options you had, some information about each, which one you finally decided to go to (include details) and what you are planning on doing there.
