Maintenance Technician (Temporary Position)

Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (EWN) is seeking candidates for the part-time position of Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician performs landside and airside grounds and facility maintenance duties in a responsive, timely and effective manner to contribute to the kept appearance, working order and successful, compliant operations of the airport. This position is needed for up to 600 hours to maintain adequate coverage in maintenance in the summer months.

Selected candidate must:

Respond to complete airport work order requests in a timely manner. Maintains cleanliness of airport grounds and disposes of trash, empties

trash receptacles and handles and recycles hazardous waste. Performs maintenance work on ground areas including loading and

unloading trucks, ditch clean out, erosion control, washout repair and fence and sign repair.

Performs basic carpentry, electrical, painting and plumbing repair of airport buildings and grounds as requested and assigned.

Safely, and in accordance with proper operation procedures, operates all automotive, mechanical equipment, and a variety of hand and power tools necessary to maintain airport facilities.
