three homes. three weeks. three families.Home Builders Blitz is a three-week biennial event that brings together local home builders, subcontractors,

and suppliers to construct three Habitat homes with donated materials and labor. Other businesses in the home

construction industry provide sponsorship dollars and volunteer hours to ensure the project is fully funded,

increasing the number of Habitat for Humanity families served in Monroe County.

We are seeking building industry partners who want an opportunity to give back to their community.

Builders provide gifts in-kind in the form of materials and labor and community partners, individuals, and

organizations make financial contributions to ensure we can grow the number of families that have access to

decent and affordable housing.

Who can participate? Everyone!

• Builders and subcontractors can volunteer skilled labor and solicit donated materials from their partners.

• Suppliers, organizations, and businesses can donate materials from the roof and walls to the kitchen sink.

• Other construction industry partners such as financial institutions, title companies, and real estate

professionals can provide sponsorship funding and promote the project to their networks, plus take

advantage of group volunteer opportunities for their organizations.

This year’s Home Builders Blitz will take place August 17– September 4, 2020 in our Trail View neighborhood and will

bring together hundreds of supporters to construct three homes from start to finish. Our Home Builders Blitz goal

for 2020 is $255,000 in labor, materials, and sponsorship dollars and with your partnership we can fully fund and

construct three family homes for three deserving families.
