Holy Family Collegiate High School (HFCHS) is a Christ - centered narrowly focused secondary education institution that accepts academically motivated students who have the desire, ability and achievement level to qualify for entrance into post-secondary education programs at the end of their sophomore year in high school.

A HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCELIKE NO OTHER Your academically motivated student

can excel in high school and earn college credit at the same time.

ACCEPTANCE: Students will be required to meet admission standards prior to entering the 9th grade and the 11th grade.

9-10 GRADE: Students admitted to HFCHS will attend the first two years (9th and 10th grades) in an academically challenging college preparatory program at the Holy Family campus in Ashland, Ky. 11-12 GRADE: Students will be enrolled inanAssociateDegreeprogram(AA,AS or AAS) at one of the Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) campuses where they will attend traditional college classes (with traditional college students and will be taught by college professors).

GRADUATION: Upon successful completion of this four-year collegiate high school curriculum, the student will be awarded a high school diploma and the appropriate associate degree. DEGREE OPTIONS: Students who attend HFCHS may individualize the ACTC Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degrees to meet specific pre-requisite requirements for bachelor degree programs at four-year colleges and universities. A list of transfer agreements can be found on the ACTC website at www.ashland.kctcs.edu.

SPECIALIZATION: Students, along with their parents, who choose the Associate of Applied Science path should carefully consider if the technical area of choice is truly a fit for the individual student’s future as there is little flexibility in the courses that must be completed.

CURRICULUM: A semester-by-semester curriculum guide is available upon request.

STUDENT SERVICES: Students in grades 9 and 10 shall be governed by the Holy Family School Handbook. Students in grades 11 and 12 shall be governed by the ACTC Student Policies, Rights and Responsibilities document.

TUITION AND FEES:• Grades 9-10 - $4,000 per academic year

Each student shall be required to complete a FACTS application to determine his/her eligibility for financial aid. (The student should also complete a Holy Family FinancialNeedScholarshipApplicationtoapplyfortuitionassistanceavailableforspecial circumstances.)

• Grades 11-12 - $5,000 per academic year (Holy Family Collegiate High School (HFCHS) is liable for collection of all college tuition and fees and remitting same to Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC).

Each student shall follow the same directions as 9th-10th grade students.

• Scholarships - Applications should be made for college scholarships and any specific Holy Family scholarships that may be available as well as any similar scholarships offered by the ACTC Foundation.
