WORKSHOP II
The second Confirmation Workshop is scheduled for Mon-day February 22, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the School of Reli-gion Building.
The Confirmation payment of $200 (check or money order only) will be collected at this time. The fee covers the re-treat, transportation to and from the retreat, breakfast and lunch on that day, the robes and Mass booklet for Confirma-tion and the re-registration fee.
The workshop is one of two mandated by the Archdiocese of New York.

Staten Island Parent’s Bereavement Group
Responding to the borough wide crisis of deaths associat-ed with drug use, The Church of Saint Clare’s Parish Counseling Program and the South Shore YMCA Coun-seling Center will co-sponsor a Bereavement Group to assist parents who have lost their child to the use of drugs. *Have you lost your child due to a drug overdose or to a drug related suicide? *Would you like to participate in a specialized bereave-ment group for parents who are grieving this kind of loss? *Did you lose your child within the last 2 years? No matter the age of your child when you lost them, you are encouraged to call and find out more about this group and whether it is the right time for you to participate in a parent’s bereavement group.
This service is being provided free to participants and held at the:

Holy Child Baseball/Softball 2016 Registration
Holy Child will again be fielding CYO Baseball and Softball teams starting in the Spring of 2016. Registrations will be open to children from 3rd Grade through 8th Grade. The CYO Baseball/Softball season typically starts playing games in early April and concludes the season by mid/late June. Every team makes the playoffs. Join the team and have some fun with us this Spring!
The Holy Child Baseball Program will be fielding teams in three different divisions and looking for players for the fol-lowing:
3rd and 4th Grade team (Little League rules)
5th and 6th Grade team (50/70 Field Dimensions)
7th and 8th Grade team (60/90 Field Dimensions)

… may be one of the nuttiest things we can strive for. Come to this retreat and find
out that there are a lot of us NUTS out there!
Colleen Kelly-Rayner has been participating in ministry for the last twenty years. Colleen answered God’s call to ignite the fire of God’s love in His people through an alternative style of evangelization. Colleen provides workshops, retreats, conferences, and talks that everyone can re-late to. Her quick wit, high energy, real-life experiences, and knowledge of the faith create an experience that you can’t help but pay attention to. Colleen is a dynamic speaker who engages her audience and gets them involved in the presentation. Colleen has worked with thousands of pre-teens, teens, women’s groups, parishes, teachers, clergy and just about anyone else she can get to listen to her! Colleen strives to create an experience that allows Jesus to touch the hearts of
each person in the room through her words. Colleen has a gift to open up the faith
and share it in such a real way that you leave her talks on fire for God.
