Our story began in 2006 when weset up a collaboration withowners of idyllic holidaydestinations across Italy. As partof our affiliation we requestedfrom our holiday partners ‘FREE’weeks of accommodation. Thesefree weeks were then offered tofamilies affected by cancer.

How the partnership works-

Registration is €125.00(€155.00 inc of social media supplement) Members agree to providing two holidays of one week each during a 12 month calendar period.

Holidays for your soul do NOT charge commissions on any bookings that come via their website, brochure, media campaigns or any other source.

A ‘free’ holiday is termed as accommodation. In the instance where there is no self catering facilities we request that breakfast is included within the ‘free holiday’ for the comfort of the guests.

Angel holidays are available to families (immediate) couples or those who wish to travel alone. People who have been recently diagnosed with cancer, are currently receiving treatment or who have finished treatment within the last 12 months.

Any meals, services or activities that angel holiday guests have are to be charged as per the normal rates of the hotel or at the discretion of the management.

Our partner holiday destinations are at liberty to NOT accept angel guests during peak season periods.

Holidays for your soul promote destinations via our website, our digital brochure, social media, PR, sponsors and targeted campaigns.

Holidays for your soul collaborate with cancer organisations to promote our 'Angel holidays' however a partner destination can also organise promotion with a cancer organisation of their own choosing.

All partners must inform us of an angel holiday booking upon confirmation so we have a record plus so we can send a welcome letter, request testimonials, etc.

How do guests book their holidays –

Angel holiday guests contact holiday destinations directly to make their booking.

Guests must provide a doctors letter confirming their illness and approval to travel.

It is at the discretion of the holiday destination to impose a deposit. If imposed it is to be fully refunded on arrival of the angel holiday guests.

48% of consumers showed an actual change inbehaviour, saying that they switched brands,increased usage or tried new products orservices, as a result of Cause-RelatedMarketing.

46% of consumers said that it improved theirperceptions by making them feel better aboutusing a product, company or service.

We carefully seek out the bestproperties for our guests toensure the perfect holiday pluswe are also dedicated toproviding a value added serviceto our partners. As well as ourongoing marketing campaigns,we work closely with our partnerdestinations introducing the latestinitiatives that encourage andsupport sustainable tourism.Through our magazine, Ilbusiness di BIO we report onvarious aspects of the industrygiving practical advice and case

studies. This Spring we will alsobe able to offer our Greensourcing directory. Withspecific reference to artisanproducers.

Our guests are also encouragedto consider green practices. Forexample, how they can minimisetheir environmental impactwhen they travel. Choosing railover air travel or the car, carbonoffsetting and using ecoproducts are among ourrecommendations.

Our story wouldn’t be complete without some information about how we work with both our partner destinations and guests regarding issues of sustainable tourism.

This year we have a personal target ofproviding 1000 angel holidays. That’s 500partner destinations across 6 countries!
