Class IV

1. Think about words that you would associate with summer. This can include

words that describe the season, food, drinks, dresses, festivals and anything

else that you can connect with summer. List the words into columns of nouns, verbs, adjectives

and adverbs. Now join them up to make small sentences. (10-15sentences)

2. Make a note of all the new words, phrases, usages and expressions that you come across

while reading. Make a picture dictionary neatly using a scrapbook /A4 size sheet or whichever

notebook you have at home. You could call this your ‘Pictionary’.

3. Read stories from story books and magazines like Children’s World. Write their title and

author.

4. Coursebook: Learn all the syllabus done in the class.

5. Workbook: Read unseen passages of worksheet 1to3 and do the exercises based on the

passages.

6. Write one page of handwriting in your cursive writing book/four line rule notebook everyday.

Note: Do this work neatly on A4 size pastel sheet preferably and put them in a beautiful

handmade folder /four line rule notebook or whichever notebook you have at home.
