GENERALModular, electric refrigerated, bi-level wall-mounted water cooler designed to be easily accessible to physically challenged and able-bodied individuals. When properly installed,unit meets state and federal requirements asdefined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.Unit is certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and meetsrequirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act. Unit provides 50° F water at 80° F inlet water and 90° F ambient.

FOUNTAINOval shape fountain, non-corrosive stainlesssteel, with brushed satin finish. Contour-formedbasin with rounded corners and edges. Ovalfountain shape requires less neck extension andbending for the wheel chair user.

BUBBLERExclusive one-piece, chrome-plated two-streammound-building bubbler with non-removableanti-squirt feature and integral hood insures asatisfying drink of water.

AUTOMATIC STREAM HEIGHT REGULATORSelf-closing assembly is located inside unit toprevent tampering. Unit resists corrosion andliming. A constant stream height is automaticallymaintained under line pressures that vary from20 to 105 psi.

PUSHBAR ACTUATION MECHANISMSelf-closing, semi-circular push bar can beactuated at any point on its 180° radius.

INLET STRAINEREasily cleaned in-line strainer screen traps particles of 140 microns or larger before theyenter the waterway.

REFRIGERATION SYSTEMHermetically sealed, positive start compressorwith lifetime lubrication and built-in overloadprotection, efficient capillary sizing, largecapacity dryer-strainer, and self-lubricated fancools copper/aluminum condenser. Systemuses R134A refrigerant. Protected by HalseyTaylor’s Limited 5 Year Warranty.

MOUNTING FRAMEMounting frame is manufactured of corrosionresistant, galvanized steel. Open constructiondesigned for ease of installation. Mountingframe can be shipped in advance for rough-ininstallation.

PANELSConstructed of stainless steel number 300 series with satin finish. Removable lower panelprovides access to plumbing and refrigerationsystem. Panels overlap wall opening 1/2".

SUGGESTED SPECIFICATIONSShall deliver 7.5 GPH of 50° F water at 90° Fambient and 80° F inlet water. Fountain shallinclude pushbar valve on front, contour-formedbasin to eliminate splashing and standingwater, and rounded corners and edges.Bubbler shall be chrome plated, two-stream,mound- building type. Cooling unit shall have ahigh efficiency positive start compressor usingR134A, with pressurized counterflow coolingevaporator/chiller. Cooler shall comply withANSI 117:1 and ADA for visual and motiondisabilities. The manufacturer shall certify theunit to meet the requirements of NSF/ANSI 61,and the Safe Drinking Water Act. Unit complieswith ARI Standard 1010.

WALL OPENINGIMPORTANT: It is necessary to create a wallopening 37 1/2" W x 37 3/4" H and 41/2" abovethe floor line.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONSRefer to rough-in for location of plumbing andelectrical sources. The support frame is to beinstalled first. The shelf for the water chillershould be assembled to the wall frame, andthen place chiller into position. Hang upperpanel to hanger on frame. Fountains are to beattached to panel and wall frame. Water servicelines, waste lines and electrical are assembledas required. The bottom panel is attached last,after a final check for leaks and correct functions of fountains and chiller. (For detailssee the installation instructions.)

Installation requires trap to be installed inwall. Trap and service stop not included.

OPERATING PRESSURES:Supply water - 105 psi maximum

Minimum 40 psi supply line pressure requiredin special circumstances where both sides ofbilevel are in use simultaneously to ensureadequate stream height. Use of water filter inthis situation is not recommended.

ELECTRICAL DATAJunction box for a (3) wire 10 AMP branch circuit. Standard 120 volt, 60 HZ, single phase.
