CYSS Spring Sports RegistrationFebruary 1-28 Sign up your Children now for the Spring Sport Season. Baseball/softball, ages 10-15; Soccer, ages 6-15; Track and Field, ages 8-15; T-Ball, Ages 3-7; Minor Coach Pitch, Ages 8-9

Hunting ClassFebruary 3 – April 11, 6-9 p.m. This eleven week course meets all of the requirements of German law. The course includes blocks of instruction on safety, customs, traditions, shooting, proper weapons handling, laws and information on all game animals.

2nd Annual Blind Date with a BookFebruary 3-27Feeling lucky at love….book love? Come to the Library and choose one of our Book Blind Dates during the month of February and find out how lucky you are. Blind Dates are not forever, but you may wish they were!

Lego Builders ClubFebruary 5, 3 p.m.Do you like to build with Legos? And are you between the ages of 8 and 100? You are invited to the first, informational meeting of the Lego Builders Club here in Hohenfels! Call the Library for more information.

Ski/Snowboard Trip to Grosser ArberFebruary 7Grosser Arber has been called the Mont Blanc of the Bavarian Forest. It offers 5 lifts, one being a Gondola and 15km of great skiing. The whole Family will enjoy this one. Great place to learn how to ski or board.

Intro to Ski Touring TripFebruary 7 Want to get into the backcountry? Join Outdoor Recreation for a day in the Bavarian Alps where you will learn how to earn your turns. We will tour near Grosser Arber and enjoy a well deserved meal in a local hut.

Snowshoe Trip to the Bavarian Forest National ParkFebruary 8 Join us for an adventurous day of snowshoeing in the Bavarian Forest near the Czech border. You will have the amazing chance to discover first-hand the winter secrets of the National Park.

Indoor Climbing Night in RegensburgFebruary 10 & 24Wanting to learn to climb or just stay strong for the real rock? Come with ODR down to the indoor rock climbing gym in Regensburg! Their facility is one of the largest in Germany.

Valentine’s Crafts February 11, 2:30-4 p.m.Celebrate Valentine’s Day with creative crafts at the Library! Stop by to make that perfect card and tell someone just how much you care! Appropriate for children ages 5-10.

Ski Touring Weekend in the Dolomites, ItalyFebruary 13-16We tour directly into our hut and spend 3 nights there, ski touring each day and coming back to the comforts of our home in the mountains.

BUNCOFebruary 13, 6:30-9:30 p.m.Win big at our newest monthly game night! We’re playing Bunco, a fast paced dice game. Please, no Children allowed. $15 per person.

Parent’s Night Out & Youth Late Night OutFebruary 13, 6:30-10:30 p.m. Sign up by February 11 at Parent Central Services.Have an evening without the kids! Let your children enjoy a fun-filled night with CYSS while you enjoy a quiet Valentine’s dinner! And ... Youth can enjoy a late night at the Youth Center filled with fun activities.

Texas Hold ‘Em TournamentFebruary 13, 6:30 p.m.Try your luck in a game of Texas Hold ‘Em and win a trip to Edelweiss! Cost is $25 to buy in and $25 re-buys. There will be limited seating. Early sign up is available at the Zone. Open to ID card holders 18 years and older.

Ski/Snowboard Trip to Brauneck/LenggreisFebruary 21 With 18 lifts and 34 km of slopes this is one of Germany’s best resorts, only 60 km south of Munich. This place has terrains for all abilities, truly a great place for the whole Family at a great price for riding.

Rainbow Loom ClubFebruary 24, 3 p.m.Do you Loom? Do you want to learn? Come to our first Rainbow Loom Club at the Library and make some cool bracelets and more. Use our looms and supplies or bring your own. Lots of fun for ages 10 and up!

Royalty Story Time and CraftsFebruary 27, 4-5 p.m.Dust off your tiara and shine up your prince’s cape- it’s time for our annual Royalty Party! Ages 3-10 are invited to attend this fun event at the Library and enjoy stories, songs and crafts.

SKIESUnlimited ClassesOpen ContinuouslyEnroll your Children in SKIESUnlimited instructional classes, which include: Piano, P.R.I.D.E. Taekwondo, Karate, Tiny Tumblers and Rhythmic Gymnastics. Please contact CYSS Parent Central Services for more information.

Gamers Night Wednesdays, 5 p.m.Come out to the Community Activity Center and pit your skills against other skilled opponents in a variety of Sci-Fi board and card games. If you’ve been trying to locate a gaming group to share your interests, you’ve found it!

Penny a Pin BowlingWednesdays, 5 p.m.Break open your piggy banks and head down to the Bowling Center! You pay a penny for every pin you knock over. Any game over 200 (guys) or 180 (gals) bowls for free.

Story Time at the LibraryBring your little one to the Library and listen to stories read aloud by our wonderful Library staff. What better way to spend your day, than to be in the imagination of a child and a good book.Lapsit - Wednesdays, 11 a.m. Regular - Thursdays, 10 a.m.

German Learning & ConversationThursday, 4:30-5:30 p.m.Want to learn German or practice what you know already? Come and bring a friend! The more, the merrier, and the better the opportunity to practice what you learn! Contact the Library for more information.

Cosmic BowlingSaturdays, 3-10:30 p.m.We have the lights out and the black lights on! Enjoy R&B music while getting your bowl on!
