Hardware Installation

The main goal of this part is to enable the students to install the different

cards of a BreezeMAX FDD Macro Base Station. The participants can use

the information provided in the technical presentation.

1. Build the setup as described in the diagram at the end of this part. This

will be the configuration we will use for the rest of the training. (You can

have a different number of PIUs/PSUs/IDUs)

2. In the Base Station Chassis install the PIU(s) (1 or 2 per BS)

3. Install the PSUs (up to 4 per BS)

4. Install the NPU

5. Install the IDU(s) (up to 6 per BS)

6. Power up the chassis and confirm the proper operation
