Accreditation-level testing leverages low-stakes exams typically used for validation of broad and general expertise on subjects that evolve rapidly and for validation of basic and fundamental technical knowledge acquired academically.
Passing an accreditation test leads to an Associate or a Professional qualification credential.
Certification-level testing effectively and accurately validates that candidates have the skills, knowledge and abilities to per-form specifically identified tasks as they relate to their job in real-life situations.
In order to pass certification exams, can-didates are expected to use knowledge acquired through multiple means and real-life experiences, including various formal and informal training and learning methods.
Passing a certification exam leads to a Specialist or an Expert certification credential.
Program TracksSales Track
This track is intended for Hitachi Data Systems partners and employees who sell products, solutions, services and technol-ogy from Hitachi Data Systems.
Presales Track
This track is intended for Hitachi Data Systems partners and employee presales personnel who support the sales activities of Hitachi Data Systems products, solu-tions, services and technology.
Architect Track
This track is intended for Hitachi Data Systems partners and employee architect personnel who assess, plan and design solutions that meet the business needs of HDS customers.
Implementation and Integration Track
This track is intended for Hitachi Data Systems partners and employee implemen-tation personnel who deploy, integrate and support solutions running on Hitachi stor-age systems.
Installation and Support Track
This track is intended for Hitachi Data Systems partners and employee installation personnel who install, configure and sup-port Hitachi storage systems.
Administration Track
This track is primarily intended for Hitachi Data Systems customer storage managers who use and administer Hitachi storage systems. It is also available to HDS employ-ees and partners.
Basics and Fundamentals Track
This entry-level track is for audiences who seek basic knowledge and understanding of IT concepts, technologies and standards.
