HISTORYAfter the historic Columbia Club in downtown Indianapolis was placed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Columbian Historical Foundation, Inc. became a non-profit in 1983. The Columbian Literary and Fine Arts Foundation, Inc. was formed in 1984 and maintained all of the art and artifact collections at the Club. In 1989, the two merged and became The Columbia Club Foundation Inc. (CCF)

BRAND RECOGNITIONYour support for the Columbia Club Foundation Holiday Gala, to be held November 17, 2018, will enable more of the events’ proceeds to go towards the restoration and repair of the incredible works of art and artifacts within the club. When your company supports the Columbia Club Foundation, you connect your brand with ours, which creates positive recognition.

WHY THE COLUMBIA CLUB FOUNDATION?The Columbia Club Foundation and the Columbia Club are separate entities. The purpose of the Foundation is to maintain the building and the treasured art and artifacts of the Columbia Club.

When Central Indiana residents and visitors think of and see the Columbia Club in downtown Indianapolis, many people focus on its special events and grandiose architecture located on the Circle, facing the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. The Club has hosted celebrities, presidents, members of royalty from around the world, and other famous personalities. The building has been a prominent feature of Indianapolis’ Monument Circle since 1889.

However, there is more to the Club than its regal appearance. The Columbia Club Foundation Inc. is working to invite more people from Central Indiana and beyond to discover the Club’s rich history and art. Taking a step into the Club is like taking a leap back in time!
