This presentation will show the evolution and expansion of
OSF Saint Francis Medical Center to what is it is today.
These
sisters
originally
hailed from
Germany
and fled due
to religious
persecution.
First
Hospital
1876
Located behind the first hospital.
1877-This building was purchased
from Lydia Moss Bradley as the
new hospital, due to outgrowing
the two story house pictured
previously.
Early 1900’s

1907, as an
addition.
