Historic Waxahachie, Inc. would like to welcome you to the Christmas Tour of Lights and Contest. This event is an opportunity for you to drive through our historic neighborhoods decorated with Christmas lights and vote for the home

with your favorite holiday decorations. You can participate in voting online at www.historicwaxahachie.com or at ballot boxes located in participating

restaurants and businesses.

The City of Waxahachie also has holiday decorations in several parks as well as the Historic Courthouse and the MKT Depot.

Historic Preservation is the cornerstone of the beauty and unique charm of Waxahachie. It is important that our heritage be preserved. HWI has been

working for over 40 years to protect our heritage through preservation, educa-tion and advocacy. We are very proud of our city’s heritage.

I can’t thank our volunteers enough who have worked on the Tour of Lights and Contest as well as our sponsors who help make the tour possible.

I hope you enjoy your time in the great historical city of Waxahachie. As you tour the city, please support our local businesses and restaurants.
