Our Process

Go to a parish website and check how many ethnic

masses they held on a Saturday or Sunday

If the majority of masses were Spanish we would make

an appointment to see the pastor and to talk with him

about what we could do to help him at his parish.

Our Process

• If there was no council we would ask

the pastor if he was interested in having

a new council.

• The same was true for council

reactivations, and if a council was

struggling with membership we would

go to help those councils recruit new

members.

Next Steps

• We created a plan targeting Hispanics.

• We organized Hispanic / Ethnic recruitment teams

• We designated regional captains

• We appointed floating Spanish District Deputies, working

exclusively on NCD’s and council reactivations.

• We held regional meetings monthly with social events to

communicate progress, set goals, and accountability. We

included the General Agents and Field Agents in planning and

execution of our plans.

• We offered incentives tailored to

Hispanics / Ethnics development.

• We supported membership financially

by providing admissions kits and

membership materials as needed.

• We coordinated Spanish ceremonial

degrees.

• We recognized high achievers at

the State Convention and monthly

through our website and State

newsletter.

• As State Officers, we showed our

support for the Hispanic / Ethnic

team by attending meetings and

training seminars.

The State council sponsored

training to fill out reports,

forms, and safe environment.

Helped councils with their Supreme per

capita when needed by providing ways to

raise funds particularly by purchasing icons

of our Lady of Guadalupe so they could

raise funds to pay their Per-Capita.

• As State officers we worked on changing

attitudes and reminded our membership

we are a brotherhood and an international

organization.

• Finally, we utilized the support from the

Supreme Office. Working together as a

team.

Results of Our Efforts

9 of our 14 new councils

were Spanish

Reactivated 10 Spanish

councils and brought in

countless members into our

already existing councils.

many of our Ethnic groups is

steps to meet our goals.
