Make sure your machine has had a full pre-deliveryinspection and that it issuitable for the job at hand.

Make sure that all work isproperly planned andappropriately supervised,taking into account everyonein the vicinity of whereequipment is to be used.

Ensure that everyone involvedin the work is fully competent, or, if being trained, issupervised by a competentand qualified person.

Plan for emergencies and rescue.

Make sure ground conditionsare suitable for the use ofpowered access, and that there are no overhead hazards.

Take account of workingconditions, including wind speed.

Use all relevant safetyequipment for the safe use of MEWPS.

Personnel lifts are ideal for use where space islimited. The machines are easily manoeuvrableand fit though standard doorways, as well asbeing light enough to be transported in service lifts.

Mast booms allow for work where space is verylimited, whilst allowing the operator to work atheight with the added option of boom reach.

The Hird range is made up of models from leadingmanufacturers such as Genie, Haulotte, Pop Up and JLG. Mast booms offer up to 10m of working height and the smallest personnel lifts measure just 0.70m in width.

Tracked spider booms are extremely versatilemachines offering up to 23m of working height.

Spider booms feature compact dimensions, so can fitthrough most doorways, can work in narrow spaces and are light enough to transport on service lifts.

Due to their tracked wheels and outriggers, our spiderbooms are able to travel and work on ground that is uneven or is on a gradient.
