Sealed item rate tenders are hereby invited on behalf of Chairman cum Managing Director HPSEBL from the approved contractors of appropriate classes registered with HPSEBL HPPWD and HOUSING BOARD for Electrical works for execution of following work The tenders shall be received on prescribed forms clearly super scribed with Tender No and date of opening together with earnest money in shape of cash or demand draft payable at Shimla in favour of Sr Executive Engineer Shimla Electrical Division No II HPSEBL Shimla-9 on the stipulated date and time and shall be opened in the presence of the contractors or their authorized representatives who may wish to be present Tender documents can be had from this office against payment of 5001-( Rs Five Hundred) only in shape of cash or demand draft payable at Shimla in favour of Sr Executive Engineer Shimla Electrical Division NoII HPSEBL Shimla-9 The detailed terms amp conditions can be seen in the HPSEB Ltd website at wwwhpsebcom

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1 The quantities can be increaseddecreased as per site condition and no claim on this account shall be entertained

2 All general terms and conditions mentioned in HPPWD- 78 Form shall be applicable in Toto 3 Earnest money in the shape of cash or bank draft of local bank in the favour of Sr Executive Engineer

9 The contractor shall follow the main provisions of Interstate Migrant Workman (RE amp CS) ACT 1970 Payment of wages Act 1936 amp Minimum wages Act 1948

lO The contractor shall fully responsible in case of any accident happened all precautionary measures taken by the contractor to the labour worker at the site of work and no claim on this account shall be entertained by the department

11 The site may be visited before quoting the rates leads and lifts may be verified to avoid any dispute in future

12 The rates should be quoted for all leads and I ifts nothing extra will be paid on this account 13 The rates for all items of work shall unless clearly specified otherwise include cost of all Labour

materials and other inputs involved in the execution of the item 14 The work will be strictly got executed as per HPPWD specifications 15 T ampP required for execution of work will have to be provided by the contractor nothing extra will be

paid on this account 16 All the dispute if any arises will only be settled in the jurisdiction of courts at Shimla 17 At least 70 employment shall be given to bonafide Himachlis by the c( ntractors executing the work 18 The payment of royalty on the works executed through contractors will be deducted from their bills as per

rates notified by the Director Industry HP from time to time

19 Legal Contract The contractorsupplier shall execute a legal contract in duplicate on the judicial stamp paper worth Rs3-(Rs three) charges are to be borne by the supplierContractor with in seven days after receipt of this communication

20 Payments 100 payment shall be made after execution of Contract in full and good condition and completion certificate by the concerned AE

21 Quality of Material All material manufacturedsupplied shall be of the best quality as per standard IS

Specifications and made well furnished (smooth and true form and dimensions) The firm must inspect the site of work to assess the space where the work is to be carried out

23 Warranty The company shall be responsible make guarantee to replace free of cost with no transportation and insurance expenses to the purchaser up to destination of material which under normal and proper use and Mtc proves defective in material or workmanship within 12 months from the date it is completed

The above provision shall also equally apply to the material replaced repaired by the company under this column in case the same is again found to be defective within 12 months of its replacementrepair

24 Electricity Rules All work shall confirm to the rules in force under the Indian electricity supply acts

any other applicable legislation 25 Engineer -In-Charge

The Assistant Engineer Electrical Sub-Division HPSEBL Kasumpti under Sr Executive Engineer Shimla Electrical Division No II HPSEBL Shimla-9 shall be the Engineer -in-charge for the execution of the above work
