• Cut 2- 5½” X 26”• Cut 2- 5½” X 30½”

5. From dark grey SB 2053-190,

• Cut 2- 2½” X 40½”• Cut 2-2½” X 40”

6. From yellow SB 20157-310

• Cut 4 -2” X 2” squares• Remaining yellow for flying geese blocks

7. Save all dark green SB 20103-880 for flying geese blocks

1. Press 3 light green 1” strips in half lengthwise to make ½” strips.• Cut into 16-5½” segments. • Using ⅛” seam, stitch green folded segments to form flange around 5½” X 5½”

2. Stitch corner blocks to ends of 5½” X 26” (top and bottom), light grey border strips.

Second Border

2 ¼”

make 44 flying geese units

FINISHING 2 ¼” X 1 ½”

First Border

2. Refer to assembly diagram for block orientation and stitch blocks together

making 2 strips of 10 blocks for top and bottom borders, and 2 strips of 12 blocks

for side borders. Add the 2” X 2” yellow blocks to the ends of the 12 block borders.

Make 2 – 10 block borders (top and Bottom)

Make 2 – 12 block borders with yellow squares

added (right and left sides)

Quilt Assembly

1. Stitch Top and bottom flying geese

border strips to center panel.2. Stitch right and left flying geese border strips

to center panel.

3. Stitch Light grey side borders4. Stitch top and bottom light grey

borders with corner squares.

5. Stitch dark grey borders, right

and left borders before top and

bottom borders.

Nothing left to do but layer, quilt, and bind.
