The American Red Cross offers biomedical learning andlearning-in-action opportunities for high school students. TheRed Cross is setting out to engage and grow our corps of youthblood donors and leaders in meaningful and innovative ways.

Through the American Red Cross High School Scholarship Program,

your high school and students have the opportunity to help others, whilealso helping establish a scholarship fund to benet engaged students asthey move on to higher education.

The scholarship program is available for high schools who host at leastone Red Cross blood drive during the school year.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Schedule Red Cross blood drives during August 1, 2015 and May 31, 2016 the more pints of blood you collect, the more scholarship money youare eligible to receive.In return for your efforts, the Red Cross will provide amonetary award to be used for an educational scholarship at establishments

of higher education for a selected recipient(s). Representatives from yourschool will determine the scholarship recipient(s) based on Red Crossrecommended criteria.

The scholarship will be awarded in the recipients name to the institution of highereducation that the student will attend. The Scholarship Recipient DistributionForm(s) must be completed by the sponsoring high school by the deadline dateand submitted to the American Red Cross representative.

By participating in the American Red Cross High School Scholarship Program,schools and students can help build a stronger community currently and for manyyears to come.
