Here are some of the Solid Waste Management Facilities that were permitted by Kim Ford, PE for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance. Although these facilities represent only a small fraction of those worked on by Kim, these facilities represent those where much attention was given to landfill expansions and closures. Kim was responsible for the approval of more than 1,000 acres of landfill closures, including the design and installation of gas collection systems.

Kim was responsible for the approval of the design and construction of each of the initial phases of the lined landfills including the liner designs and leachate collection systems. And as part of the initial phases, most were approved to serve as multi-purpose facilities for recycling of wood waste, white goods, waste tires, and electronics. All of the landfills have groundwater monitoring and systems for stormwater management.
