Attendance is criticalSelf-care is important – time management,

adequate sleep and eating habits.Build relationships with your teachers.Come to class on time, prepared, and pay

attention.Do the classwork – you’ll have less homework –

study for tests.When you don’t know – ask!Use the resources available! – counselors,

teachers, tutoring and I-team – they are all here to ensure your success.

LMHS Attendance Policy

Excused absences: medical, court, death in family or exceptional circumstances.

Parents can write Three (3) excused absences per semester.

Procedure for student returning from absence: Turn in excuse note to the attendance office.

Time allowed for Make-up work—2 days to make up work when a class is missed.

Four (4) unexcused absences will result in a failing grade. Student will earn a 59. The student would still be able to pass a class depending upon the exam grade.
