Have a Great Summer! It has been a year of blessing at BCS and we thank all of our students and
parents for contributing to that blessing. May the summer be a well-
deserved break spent with family and friends. The 18-19 school year will
be here before we know it so be looking for school information coming via
email in late July.
Here are two excerpts from some
of our 3B essays about school. I’m now going to tell you about my school
Blackhawk Christian Elementary. Here at Black-
hawk we learn how to serve God and other school
things. We also learn how to use the internet
wisely and we have a nice kid friendly principal.
His name is Mr. Wiegand! And the nice lady that
put the B in Blackhawk is Miss Walts.
~Nash Blasius, 3B
This paragraph is about my school. Every
school day I wake up I think I don’t like school,
but on spring break I found myself wanting to go
back to school. Most of the time school is the
best thing in my day. Probably because they work
me hard and I like to work hard. I like to write
stories though I am only a third grader. My school
is loving, generous, patient (with students), thank-
ful, and caring. Probably because we are a Chris-
tian school.
