EtherDrive® SRX4200High Performance Ethernet SAN Storage

EtherDrive SRX4200 storage array is a rack mount SAN appliance that uses standard Ethernet networking and the ATA-over-Ethernet (AoE) SAN storage protocol. Coupled with Coraid EtherDrive HBA’s installed in the host/server, SRX provides simple, high performance, shared storage that requires no IP address, no port bonding, and no multi-path configuration software.

Scale-out Design with Enterprise ReliabilityEtherDrive SRX4200 storage appliance is available with dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet CX4 copper, or dual 10 Gigabit SFP+ fiber, or six 1 Gigabit RJ45 ports. The SRX4200 storage appliance can be used with up to 36 2.5” or 3.5” SAS, SSD or SATA disks. Disk type can be mixed within the appliance, allowing users to create LUNs with the size and performance characteristics to match any application.

SRX Series arrays use industry standard hardware and Ethernet to create a scale-out SAN storage solution that is ideally suited to high performance virtual computing and cloud storage environments.

Simplified SAN ManagementCoraid’s CorOS™ software provides the intelligence that enables simple management, and RAID redundancy. The simplicity of EtherDrive Storage makes it easy to manage, because it’s easy to understand. EtherDrive is a disk connected to your server via Ethernet. That disk may actually be a RAID volume, but it just looks like a local disk to the server. There is no need to learn complicated technology like Fibre Channel. Just add SAS, SSD or SATA disks to the EtherDrive SRX4200 Storage Appliance and you have all the performance and space you want available for any server attached to the SAN. It’s that simple.
