Power unit design and assembly can be greatlysimplified by using pump/motor mounts.

Direct mounting flange mount pumps to NEMA "C" -face motors by a pump/motor mount eliminates theneed for coupling guard, foot brackets, shims, risers,and mounting plate. The result is the easiest

AIR BLEED VALVE

DESCRIPTION:The Air Bleed Valve permits easier pump primingand/or start-up under deadhead conditions. This valveis normally open permitting oil and air (if present) topass from inlet to outlet and directly back to tank.Pressure in the spool center section is bled via spoolclearance, to the no-spring end of the spool. Aspressure builds up, it overcomes the spring and shiftsthe spool to close off the inlet port and allow full pumpflow to circuit.
