Paper Touch OPV
Special pigments or
fillers incorporated
in the ink or an over
Lacquer which gives
an paper feel or an
haptic effect.
Resin with smooth and soft tactile properties. The luxurious and
sophisticated feel will turn any substrate into a premium. Try
touching any other product and feel the difference

Soft Touch/Rubber Touch Ink
The tactile lacquer causes a
tactile effect which gives
the surface a kind of
embossed look

High gloss on paper
Shiny Banderole is a high gloss
printed paper with a hotmelt coating
for Banderole applications on
FFS packaging lines.
Highest gloss is achievable with UV-print technology. High gloss also possible in
Rotogravure printing technology (two-component overlacquer).
High Gloss/Shiny Banderole
Proprietary ink for use in high speed substrate coding and marking applications using
low power laser light. Once a substrate has been coated, a laser is then used to print
variable text, graphics and images on the substrate. This can be used for late stage
product differentiation and a reduction in stock keeping units.

Thermochromic inks change their colour when exposed to different
temperatures
Low temperature (8°C) reversible Higher temperature (16°C)

Properties
Colour change from colour to colourless at higher temperatures
Colour change possible between -10 °C and +60 °C
colourless
Thermochromic Inks
Thermochromic Inks
Ability to communicate with the persons interacting
Change the colour permanently, irreversibly or reversible in a defined temperature
window
Cold activated Inks (refrigerator)
Touch activated Inks (body temperature)
High Temperature inks (oven)
Colourful to colourless, coloureless to colourful
or change from one colour to another
Reactable Print
Photochromic Inks
Change the colour when exposed to ultraviolet light (sun or black light)
The inks become intensely coloured after 15 seconds in direct ultraviolet light and return after a
few minutes
Reactable Print
Inks which only appear under UV light or sunlight
Photochromic Inks
UV and IR Fluorescent Inks
Are not visible to the human eye in normal light conditions
Glow when activated by appropriate irradiation
Reactable Print
Fluorescent inks show no colour, when observed under normal light, and colour when
observed under UV Light
This is possible with different colours (blue, yellow, red..)
Phosphorescent inks show no colour in ambient light but when they are exposed to
sunlight they can glow in the dark (only yellow)
Fluorescent/Phosphorescent Ink
Metallization
- Metallising technology is a process of coating the material with a metal layer in a vacuum
chamber
- A matte or gloss finish that offers decorative and protective properties
- Partial or 100% of surface area
- Embossing and Holograms
- AlOx Dual Metalliser investment in Pirk. We can use this new technology to produce met. films.
Colours based on special pigments
For example
‒ Colour shift pigments
‒ High gloss silver
‒ Muliti Effect Silver (Rainbow effect)
‒ High brilliance colours based on
pearlescent pigments e.g. gold and
orange
Effects are best presented against black
backgrounds
Suitable for premium packaging
Eye catching effects
Premium Colors
Colour Shift Pigments High Gloss Silver
Multi Effect Silver High Brillance Gold
Colour Shift Ink
These inks show different colours depending on the observing angle and
colour of the substrate with a metallic effect but without the need of metal.

Product Differentiation with special effects like metallics
Packaging (Protection) of goods is one thing – but differentiation is key.

Multi Effect Silver
Multi effect silver can be achieved by using special pigments which gives
both metallic effect and holographic effect like a rainbow.
