Over 6 acres of beautiful and on a remote corner of western New Brunswick on North Lake, in York County. It’s only 25 miles SW of Woodstock and a short distance from the border with Maine, U.S.

North Lake is part of a chain of five pristine

boundary-water lakes and is the northernmost lake of the Chiputneticcook Chain of Lakes. 250 ft of lakefront and an additional 250 feet available.

The Hide Away Lodge has the style & favour of Maine & New Brunswick hunting and fishing lodges. It’s

ideal for long quiet retreats to revitalize your corporate employees or spiritual church members or the potential to be a Bed & Breakfast. It’s a luxury rustic location for regenerating yourself! Enjoy swimming, paddling, hunting and many other outdoor activities.

There are 6 rooms in the main lodge and four separate cabins, with a commercial size kitchen, & pub with 350 person Liquor License.

The lodge offers numerous accommodation options. While modern comforts have been added through renovations, this unique lodge has the rustic & luxury character throughout. The lodge has 2 levels consisting of 5100 sq. ft. of living space.

The Main Level:Features; 2 renovated bedrooms, 1 powder room, large dining hall, entry/reception desk area, small office at entry, boot/coat room off front entry,

boot drying rack/fan, commercial kitchen has stainless steel wall sheathing, 60” range with griddle, 6 burners, 2 ovens, 70,000 BTU commercial bar & banquet, 90 second pass through commercial dish washer, 3 sinks (1 dbl and one hand wash).

The Lower Level: Features; 2 renovated bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 commercial (mens/womens) washrooms, walk win commercial cooler, beer frig behind the bar (about 400 bottle capacity), double sink behind bar, ice maker (50 lbs/day), commercial grade washer/dryer.

The Top Level:Features; 2 bedrooms, possible manager’s suite and new luxury bathroom. Old Lodge (located near 4 cabins):

Features; 1,200 sq. ft. presently used as summer workshop & storage.

The Cabins 1 to 4Features; 2 bedrooms each w/vaulted ceilings, each w/one double bed and 2 single beds easily converted into bunk beds., kitchenettes, shower/toilet/sink, electric heat in crawl space and w/1,500 amp fireplace.

Boat House:Features; Small shack about 8 ft from water and used for storage and small engine repair.

HISTORYIn 1604 the French explorers Samuel de Champlain and Pierre du Guast, sieur de Monts, established the first French

settlement on an island at the mouth of the Saint Croix River. The settlement was abandoned the next year, but after 1631, when the French constructed Fort La Tour on the site of modern Saint John, colonists moved into the coastal area along the Bay of Fundy.

SPORTS & RECREATIONThe scenic forests and rivers of New Brunswick furnish excellent opportunities for hunting, fishing, and boating. The prov-ince’s salmon streams are particularly well known. Winter sports are also popular, with an abundance of trails, hills & moun-tains.
