HI WITS Training: Changing Funding Source

Lesson 7

Situation: When a Funding Source Becomes Available to an Agency, Staff must Update the Client’s Payor Group Enrollment and Authorizations

Note: ADAD Fiscal will Notify Agencies when Funds Become Available

1. Under Client Profile on the Left Menu Pick, Click on Payor Group Enrollment link

2. Click Add Government Enrollment Link

3. Select Current Contract, Choose New Year Funding Source, Set Start Date then Click “Save”

4. Under Client Profile on the Left Menu Pick, Click Authorization

5. Click Add New Authorization Record Link

6. Select New Funding Source, Set the Start Date, Select Desired Service then

Click “Save”

7. Create Encounter, Select Note Type, Select Program, Choose Service, Set Start Date and Time Frame, Type Note and Sign, Click “Save” and Release to Billing

8. On the Release to Billing Screen, Select New Funding Source then Click “Finish”
