2. Install the pipe staffs into the curtain pockets.-A plain pipe staff with no hardware attached goes into the pocket at the “leading edge” of the curtain.-The other pipe staff(s) may or may not have “cane bolt” hardware attached. Slide one of these pipe staffs into each of the remaining curtain pockets.

5. Hang Curtain Assembly-Take the entire curtain assembly with pipe staffs installed and lean it against the jamb on the “locking side” of the door opening. (2 x 4 with locking angle attached).-Fasten the pipe staffs to the “trollies with tabs” by inserting the tabs into the tops of the pipe staffs and lining up the holes in the curtain, pipe staff and trolley tab. Fasten with 5/16" x 2" bolts and nuts provided.-Line up each “trolley with hook” with the appropriate grommet hole in the curtain and attach.

4. Install the lumber on the doorway (See Figure 1).-There are (3) pcs. of 2 x 4 lumber supplied. (2) of the 2 x 4’s install vertically and are equal to door height. The third 2 x 4, with the pre-attached track, mounts horizontally across the header-The vertical 2 x 4 with the locking angle attached should be installed first. Mount it flush with the jamb on the side of the doorway to which the leading edge of the curtain will be locked closed.-The 2 x 4 with the pre-attached track and trollies installed should be mounted second. It mounts across the header, on top of, and flush with the outside edge of the vertical 2 x 4 which was installed first.-The plain vertical 2 x 4 should be installed last. It mounts under, and flush with the end of the horizontal 2 x 4 at the fixed end. Make sure it is plumb.
