Together we can make a difference in the lives of those around us.
The “March of Dimes” works to end premature births and other
problems that threaten our babies. They help moms have
full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. If something goes wrong, they offer information and comfort
to families. They research the reasons why babies are born too
soon or very sick and work on preventions
In April 2015, HEXPOL Associates participated in the
“March” and collected over $1,550 to support this worthy
cause.
My Sister’s House“My Sister’s House” is a safe, private place for women and children who need to flee from a violent domestic situation. They receive counseling, clothing, food, etc. They are allowed to stay up to three months or longer, if needed. In June 2015, HEXPOL worked in conjunction with a local trucking company and compiled five “Welcome” totes that could help a woman with what she might need to make a new start. Each tote consisted of towels, sheets, blanket, laundry detergent and toiletry items.
In August 2015, HEXPOL
contributed “Back to
School” clothes for eight children
ranging in ages from 5 to 13 years old.
The Dove House“The Dove House Children’s Advocacy Center” is an organization that works in conjunction with law enforcement, social services and the judicial system
to help children that have been sexually abused. They provide a non-threatening, home-type environment to counsel children and their families.
During September 2015, two different groups of our HEXPOL Associates performed various grounds keeping work to maintain the exterior of the
property.
