CraftsmanshipThe foundation of Munster Joinery has een uilt around our Heritage Range. Our craftsmen use the most

modern woodworking machinery in the world, ut eerything they do is uilt on years of craftsmanship, to

ensure that all Heritage windows and doors are custom uilt to the highest standards.

The timer arries at our plant where it is inspected for moisture content, knots cracks or any other defects.

The selected timer is stacked automatically to ensure consistent spacing and circulation of air during

drying. Proes are attached at strategic points throughout the load efore it is placed in a computer

controlled drying kiln.

The kiln drying process takes twenty eight days on aerage. During this period the proes proide

continuous moisture content readings. This allows the humidity leels in the kiln to e controlled to

produce the desired drying prole. Once again the timer is inspected and any rogue pieces are discarded

efore the timer is machined, ensuring our Heritage Range achiees the highest quality of craftsmanship

for your enet.

JOGGLES- Wooden joggles, or horns as they were once known are a standard on ourHeritage hardwood sliding sash windows. They gie the o window a traditional look.

SAFETY- For your added safety, motion restrictors are aailale that limit the sliding ofthe sash as you desire. These are aailale on request in oth rass and chromeoptions

VENTILATION- There is the option of haing a ent on the top of the Heritage sliding sashwindow. This is a ery slim ent cut into the head of the frame of the window. All ents

can e colour coded to match the timer as closely as possile.

Glazing - Our wooden framed o sash windows can e doule or triple glazed formaimum energy efciency. While these windows are still made from traditional timerand manufactured in keeping with the traditional uilding facade the property ownerscan still enet from thermally efcient glazing. Glazing can e designed so as toproide sound reduction and ecellent thermal insulation.

Ironmongery / AccessoriesThe weights and chains that we use in our Heritage sliding sash windows are

similar to those used y master craftsmen as far ack as 150 years ago. The o

frame has side frames in which the weight & pulley system is housed. This

operates smoothly to control the upward and downward sliding moement of

the window unit. Following on tradition the sash weights are made from lead.

The ironmongery for the sliding sash window is aailale in either chrome or

rass. Motion restrictors that limit the sliding of the sash are aailale.

Features which reduce heat loss- Our sliding sash window is aailale doule glazed or triple glazed

- Sliding sash windows are glazed with Argon lled units for improed insulation- Argon is a low conductiity gas which does not allow heat to pass through as easily as air

- They also hae soft coat low emissiity glass as standard. This glass has a coating which

reects heat ack into the room.

Safety

- Safety glass is used for all low-leel glazing - it reaks safely on impact to reduce risk of

injury.
