Here is my bio:

Allen and his wife, Drue were drawn to Nativity as their church home in the fall of 2010 by its ministerial leadership, children’s programs and the church’s commitment to service. We felt welcomed from our first visit. While most of his adult years have been in the Methodist church, his growing up in a military family afforded him the benefit of learning from Chaplains of every denomination. He and Drue founded an affiliation of national companies whose missions are supports and services for seniors, veterans and people with disabilities/

special needs. Their newest company, SimplyHome, has the technology advisor to several television shows, including Extreme Makeover Home Edition. SimplyHome uses enabling technology to support independent living in the place people call home. Allen loves hiking, boating, sailing, adventure travel, scuba diving, youth/high school sports, service to others, cooking, spending time with family. He is a current Council member, volunteers with Nativity’s Troop 8, Eblen, ABCCM Veteran’s Quarters, Habitat and mission trips. He and Drue have 3 sons, 3 daughters-in-law and 5 awesome grandchildren. His favorite teams are any of his grandkid’s teams, the St. Louis Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Navy football and all Alabama Crimson Tide sports.
