Plastic combs are moulded into their final shape in a single production step. The moulding tools and the synthetic materials used for production are the determinants of a comb’s quality and properties. All TRIUMPH plastic combs are shaped in premium qua-lity moulds and are therefore free of uneven edges that would damage the hair. The compounds we use, polycarbonate or polyoximethylene (POM), perfectly meet the requirements of cost-effectiveness and top quality. Polycarbonate is known for its high-duty properties. To put it this way: Combs made of polycarbonates are almost indestructible. Plus: All styling combs made of POM have the ex-cellent elasticity that is needed for special hairstyling purposes. Both compounds guarantee optimal dimensional stability and an outstanding resistance against most of the chemicals used in hairdressers’ practice.

Ebonite is vulcanised natural rubber: When vulcanised in hot steam, rubber’s soft structures are cross-linked by sulphur molecules and thus a material is created which is flexible yet dimensionally-stable.

Die Kamm-Plaketten werden durch Schleifen, Sägen und Polieren von Hand weiterbearbeitet. Dabei wird die Güte der Oberfläche und die Präzision des Zahnschnitts permanent kontrolliert, damit nur einwandfreie Kämme ohne jeden haarschädigenden Grat unsere Manufaktur verlassen.The comb sheets are then worked by hand (grinding, sawing and polishing) whereby the surface quality as well as the precision of the tooth-cutting are constantly monitored so that only faultless combs without any hair-damaging burrs leave our factory.
