Zun May Aung singer-songwriter was born in Myanmar (ex Burma) in a family of four children. Her parents, clothes sellers in Rangoun, nickname her « Yune Yune ».This twenty five years old performer, poem and songwriter, group conductor, Zun May Aung, has been singing since she was a child.Singing and writing are the two passions of her which she shares on stage through her poems and songs.Interessed in french culture and language, she passed her AF and B2 french language certificates at L'Institut Français de Rangoun, and was rewarded there for her first contests during the Ambassy shows. At the end of 2007 she was awarded first prize allowing her first trip abroad.She went to Paris, to attend a one-month training at l'Ecole Accord about french language and civilisation.
Zun May Aung has various musical inspirations, she successfully performed a large number of styles such as : Burmese Pop, Gothic Metal, Slow Rock, Pop & Reggae. On her first solo album « 12.12.12 », Zun May Aung displays these styles in which she excels herself with her appropriate words and melodies.Since 2009 Zun May Aung is part of the new burmese singers generation, she might be considered as a rising female singer.
From 2009 she is on the top Myanmar Super Star Singers. Then she signed a one-year singing tour contract with the Myanmar Beer company, in order to sing on stage on the « Myanmar Beer Show ». For the first time, she recorded four songs on an album, that she performed from the « Hmaw Lint Khwint » album.
Since 2010, Zun May Aung writes words on topics which are dear to her : her feelings, her emotions about love, human being relations and essence, life and its ways, which she instils in her melodies and favorite songs.
Yune Yune needs more than that. She recorded several albums and played on video clips, in groups or in solo with famous burmese groups or singers. She carried on performing concerts and contest-compositions, and accordingly won with « A Chit Swan Ar » the 2nd prize in the Fantastic Music Contest of Tawin Center.Produced by « Bo Bo Production » company, her first solo album was released on 12.12.12. Including 14 titles, this piece is « Kyane Zar Thint Hnalone Thar ».
Always fond of foreign languages and cultures, in september 2013, Zun May Aung will travel for the 2nd time to France in Grenoble. She is invited to meet international artists within the framework of the Cultural and Musical Meeting arranged by Kristin MARION Coaching Company.

Unusual voice, various choices, Zun May Aung is an absolute artist, not only focused on song soli.
Even if her beginnings were linked to a variety and burmese pop music type, Zun May Aung soon searched among the international register to find her own writing and musicality.
It was a big deal for her first cover versions, to choose a few tracks among Celine DION repertoire, that could emphasize her vocal quality and her sense of melody.Nevertheless, little Yune Yune took up the challenge with her versatile voice adaptable to lyrics and melodies.
With a permanent search of new sounds and know-how, this self-taught person does not hesitate to learn more about singing or playing the guitar.In september 2013 she is invited to attend and participate in Grenoble (France) to the International Artists Meetings, then she has the opportunity to face a new singing style around the edges of jazz.

Concerning her records, Zun May Aung has also been the voice of several good musicians groups : “Lazy Club” (MTV clip), "Ozone", "Metal Zone" and "Sound Square" for her « 12.12.12» solo album recording. She also performed with the "Life and Dance" troupe.
As well in duet, in solo as in group, Zun May Aung knows how to tune her voice to sing with female or male vocalists from different styles.
With her concerts, her performance on albums or video clips, Zun May Aung can sing with some of the most famous artists of Burma, such as R Zar Ni, Chan Chan and Zaw Paing. Her daydream is to be listed in the Myanmar Top Singers like Zaw Win Htut, Lay Phyu, Myo Gyi, A Ngel, R Zar Ni, Sai Sai Kheng Hlaing, Tin Zar Maw, Chan Chan, Phyu Phyu Kyaw Thein and Wine Su Khine Thein.
