SUMMARY
During the period of Aug. 4 through to Aug. 31,1995, a diamond drill program consisting of 1055.37 metres was conducted on the North Limb claim group. This claim group is located along Highway 614 to the south of Summers Lake, approximately 15 km north of Highway 17 and extends 5 kilometres to the east of the highway.
The results of this work have shown that a significant alteration envelope is centred on the Annand Lake Porphyry and Musner Lake Porphyry. This envelope consists of an assemblage of quartz eye, sericite schist with rare molybdenite and green mica. Alteration in the sedimentary and mafic volcanic country rock consists of weak sericite and epidote with rare kyanite and micro-garnets. The most significant assay obtained was 94 ppb in hole N-95-3. Despite this result, the presence of favourable alteration suggests that further work should be completed on the property.
1.0 INTRODUCTIONDuring the period of August 4 through 31. 1995, a diamond drilling program totalling
1055.37 metres was conducted on the North Limb claims. Drill holes N-95-1, N-95-2, and N-95-3 were drilled in order to test the extent of alteration associated with the Armand Lake and Musher Lake porphyries. IP. anomalies. Furthermore, drilling will provide geological control across the eastern margin of the property.
The results of the diamond drilling program follow.
2.0 LOCATION AND ACCESS (Figure 1)
The North Limb property extends from the CP rail tracks on the west, across Highway 614 and an additional 5 km to the east. The property is situated to the south of Summers Lake a distance of 15 km north of Highway 17. The centre of the property is located 17 km north-east of the Hemto Mines.
Access is by either Highway 614 or the Twist Lake timber road; both pass through the central and western portions of the property.

The North Limb property are comprises of 48 claim units which were recorded in 02/25/82, 09/17/87.08/10792.08/21/92, and 10/19/93. These claims encompass a total of 740 hectors. The listed claims are all held by Hemto Gold Mines Inc.
4.0 PREVIOUS WORK
The following is a summary of previous work conducted on various portions of the North Limb property!
Mclntyre-Porcupine Mines, Von Klien option, 1962
Discovery of a number of copper-nickel and copper-tead-zinc occurrences. Electromagnetic conductors and magnetic anomalies were tested with 28 diamond drill notes, but mineralization was weak and discontinuous with depth.
Noranda Exploration Co. Ltd, 1976
Dotted Lake airborne survey completed over the area.
Pryme Energy (North), 1962
Work concentrated on the Mcintyre occurrence.
Oued Resources, 1963
Geological mapping . trenching and drilling was completed on a claim group to the east of the North Limb property. Emphasis was on stratabound gold mineralization within iron rich interflow sedimentary sequences. DriHing returned values of up to 0.025 oz/ton over 3 metres.
Norman Resources Limited, 1963
Geological mapping, soil geochemistry, airborne magnetics and VLF-EM covering an area immediately southeast of the present claim block. Soil samples were all low range with one sample returning 45 ppb. No major near surface concentrations of precious metals were discovered.
KeJry-Kerr Energy Corp., 1966-1986
Geological mapping, stripping, soil geochemistry covered an area in eastern portion of the present claim group.
Noranda Exploration Co. Ltd, Newjay Property, 1987-1969
Humus geochemistry and geology filed covering a portion of the current claim group. No anomalous Au values were found in the 23 rock samples analysed. A weak Au humus anomaly is reported to overite a felsto-mafic contact
Noranda Exploration Co. Ltd, Norman Resources Property, 1969
Geological report, plans, soil/rock geochemistry and assays filed for a claim block located south- east of the present property. Several anomalous Au values were recorded from the soil survey samples but results were not considered encouraging.
Fowter/Shuman, Annand Late Property, 1991
Property report covering prospecting and stripping on the adjoining property to the east.
Newmont Exploration off Canada Ltd., 1992
Geological and lithogeochemical reports for a daim group located 2.5 kilometres to the south- east of the present claims.
Hemto Gold Mines Inc., 1994
Trenching and geological mapping of trenches on lines 150+OOE, 153+OOE and 156+OOE on the Fowler fi property. Trenching revealed the westerly extent of the Musher Lake Porphyry.
5.0 REGIONAL GEOLOGY
The North Limb property is located within the Archean Schreiber-Hemto greenstone belt which forms a part of the Abitibi-Wawa-Shebandowan Subprovince of the Superior Province. The area contains a dominanUy south-east striking sequence of metavolcanic and metasedimentary rocks bounded to the south by the Musher Lake Granodiorite pluton.
Supracrustal rocks consist principally of basaltic flows and subordinate tuffs, with intercalations of epiclastic arkosic wacke and siltstone. Interbeds of felsic volcanic tuffs and/or volcaniclastic sediments occur locally. Numerous small elongate quartz-feldspar porphyry (QFP) stocks intrude the sequence. Equigranular to porphyritic dikes and sills intrude the volcanics, sediments, and small QFP stocks.
6.0 DIAMOND DRILLING RESULTS (Figure 3 and Map 1)
The 1995 diamond drilling results on the North Limb claims is summarised in the following table.

A total of 436 samples of core ranging from 0.2 to 1.6 metres in width were split and assayed for Au. Samples were analysed by Accurassy of Thunder Bay, by fire assay-AA. Negligible results were returned except for sporadic anomalous sections. The highest recorded assay value was 94ppb. over 1.0 metres.
The diamond drill hole logs and assay results for each hole is contained in appendix l.
7.0 DISCUSSION
The purpose of this drill program was to test the extent of alteration associated with the Musher Lake and Armand Lake porphyries, and IP. anomalies. Furthermore, drilling provided geological control across the eastern section of the North Limb Property. Dril core recovered from N-95-1 showed the Musher Lake Porphyry to be comprised of quartz eye. sericite schist, containing minor quartz veining with rare molybdenite, green mica and trace pyrite. The porphyry is altered over 70 metres of core length and is cut by periodic hematjzed granodiorite.
Drill core form N-95-1 also revealed the presence of an ultramafic unit This unit is soft and taltish, containing numerous quartz-carbonate veins.
Drill note N-95-2 intersected approximately 40 metres of the Armand Lake porphyry. The porphyry inter-fingers with the surrounding sediments and is comprised of dominantty quartz and feldspar, containing sections of moderately altered quartz eye. sericite schist
Sedimentary liihologies from the N-95-2 were weakly altered to sericite and epidote, and contain trace amounts of kyanite and rare micro-garnets.
Numerous iron formations and weakty to moderately altered sediments were intersected by N-95-3. The iron formations were comprised of magnetite and pyrrhotite with minor pyrite. Iron formations encountered in the hole corresponded to known I.P. and magnetic geophysical anomalies with the area. Altered sediments contained minor sericite and epidote alteration with rare kyanite. Trace disseminated pyrite can be seen locally throughout the hole.
8.0 CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
This drill phases showed there to be a significant sericitic alteration packages associated with the Musher Lake and Armand Lake porphyries. Despite the alteration envelope, no gold values above 94 ppb. were encountered.
Future work should concentrate on the western strike extensions of both the Musher Lake and Armand Lake porphyries. Additional linecutling, south of the existing grid, should be completed, and surveyed with IP. magnetics. Drill programs should be focused in areas known to contain the highest degree of alteration.
