This morning we welcome Pastor Mitch Senti from Envision Mission in Bellingham to our pulpit to bring God’s Word to us. We pray for God’s blessing on His Word. Shepherd Groups meet today or next week. Check with your leaders to see where and when you meet. If you aren’t in a Shepherd Group yet and would like to join one, please speak with an elder.

Church Directory: are in your mailboxes. Make sure to pick it up out of your mailbox (along with whatever else is in there) and put some names to faces! Prayers and Scriptures for the World: Don’t forget to add a Scripture or prayer to the blue strips on the table in the entryway. Let’s lift up our prayers for the world! From Shirley Nelson: “Thank you all for your prayers and support while my sister and I were in Nicaragua with Connect Nicaragua. We had an amazing time and more info will be coming later.”

40 Days for Life: will be holding a prayer presence on the sidewalk outside of Planned Parenthood from 6 AM to 6 PM everyday for the 40 days. Please consider coming for an hour or more per week. For further information, speak to Barbara Schaeffer. Sign up at www.40daysforlife.com.

A Warm Welcome to all who are worshipping with us today. If you are a visitor or new to our church, please fill out a visitor’s card located on the table in the entryway and place it in the offering basket as it comes around. A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers through age 3, located in the hallway off the entryway. Children’s Bulletins are available on the table by the door in the entry way for the younger children. Prayer Requests: Inserts are in the bulletin for prayer requests. If you have a request, please fill the insert out and place it in the offering basket when it comes around or the prayer box just outside the sanctuary. Requests are prayed for on Tuesday and also printed in the bulletin unless they are marked confidential.

Children and Worship is a worship time for children ages 3 through kindergarten that occurs during the worship service. Watch for the yellow banner during the service!

Concerns and praises within our family at Faith Special Prayer Requests: - Continued prayer for those struggling with cancer and other health issues: Shirley Nelson, Mike VanBerkum's brother John, John Vanderwal, Sienne Ackermann, Trista Burn, and Joan Johnson. - Jon Westra’s father Dewey Westra-- has a cancerous brain tumor and also the cancer has started in his bones. This is stage 4. They will see a cancer Doctor this week to see what they suggest. This is not good news, but we know the Lord will carry us through this time. Really appreciate your love & prayers. - Tami Hodge—prayer for healing from knee and back pain, and sciatica. Praise that the sciatica is getting better! - Christy Ledeboer—continued prayer for the neuropathy in her feet to go away!!! - Joe Segars--prayer for his surgery on October 16th to remove the large lipoma on his neck. - Julie Edwards (Sheri Anderson’s sister who is now a regular attendee)—prayer that the cause of her shoulder pain will be evident on the MRI she had earlier in the week and for wisdom for her doctors as they plan a course of treatment. - Petra Valdez—prayer for healing of her fractured left ankle. - Church leadership—prayer for guidance and direction as we go through a time of transition. Praise for: - Paul Korneliussen, Jay Hibma and Don Lagerwey-- praise for the work happening at Sonshine Hacienda orphanage in San Felipe, Mexico. Pray for safety in the demolition and construction work they are doing and that the Lord would be glorified above all! - Anthony Hodge and Kelsey—congratulations and praises to the Lord for their wedding celebration yesterday! May the Lord be the center of their marriage. - Herm Oordt--Praise for a good report from the doctor who performed the procedures on his gallbladder. No further follow up is indicated at this point, as his gallbladder function should be normal. Thank You, Faith, for your prayers and real concerns during the past weeks, in his fight with cancer and the gallbladder attack. -Praise for those who put the Lord first above all!
