The English District LCMS is in need of a t-shirt design for the 2019
National Youth Gathering and your design could be
the winner!

English District NYG T-Shirt Design Contest
Calling all Artists! The English District LCMS is in need of a t-shirt for the 2019 National Youth
Gathering and your design could be the winner! This shirt will be THE shirt to wear
representing the English District at the gathering. Gathering logo and graphic resources can be
found at lcmsgathering.com/media-kit/
Youth and adults are eligible and encouraged to submit a design. You need not be attending the
gathering to submit a design but must be a member or affiliated with an English District
Congregation.
Shirt colors may not be yellow or orange as those colors are reserved for key Gathering
volunteers: Community Life Builders and Young Adult Volunteers.
The deadline is August 26, 2018. Please submit your design in digital format to
A panel of judges including English district staff and NYG leaders will narrow down to three
finalists. The top three designs will be put to a public vote from September 2 through September
16th.
All entries must be original creations of the contestant that incorporates the National Youth
Gathering and English District (i.e. colors, trademarks, words, or logos) into the design.
Designs must has never been published, and free from profanity, trademarks, logos, or
copyrighted works of any other person or business.
Your design must be wholly original. By submitting a design you are guaranteeing that you hold
rights to everything in it, and that it does not contain any copyrighted material, including images/
copy found on the internet, unless clearly marked as published under a creative commons (cc)
license.
