Xing is from China. She recalls going to a Buddhist temple to pray a few times as she was growing up, but her parents and herself had no particular religious beliefs. She came to OSU to get her Master’s degree in Accounting. She was picked up at the airport by an IFI volunteer and later on began to attend an IFI Bible study. Xing prayed to receive Christ in December 2008. She later became one of IFI’s interns. She is now back in her home country. Xing and her husband are currently part of a ministry that serves and ministers to people who suffer from leprosy.

(Hours per week)

Discern and prepare for their life calling,Make disciples of Jesus.

Come alongside emerging Christian international leaders in IFI’s ISEED Discipleship Training today!

By creating and providing enriching 10-month, part-time internships, businesses can help strengthen recent graduates’ character as Christians in the marketplace and enhance their leadership and professional skills.

When you hire our qualified participants, you invest in the future of emerging leaders and help advance God’s Kingdom.

You realize a high return on your investment: In the short term, you boost workplace productivity with trained and educated workers. In the long run, you build up enthusiastic and capable world-changers who understand their role as servant-leaders.

Churches& Volunteers

Your direct investment prepares indigenous missionaries who will transform their sphere of influence and advance the Kingdom of God.

So, what do you get out of this?

Businesses

Getting involved in ISEED is a unique opportunity to influence the next generation of Christian international leaders to transform their countries.

Three ways to get involved:

1) Churches can sponsor a Christian international student for 10 months.

2) Members can identify potential positions in companies where interns can work.

3) Volunteers can mentor a Christian international student by meeting for 1 hour once a month.

ISEED participants receive discipleship training, hands-on international student ministry experience, and a part-time paid internship. Church sponsorship covers the cost of this training and a monthly stipend for the participant.

$ 1,000 - $1,500 per month or for 10 months per participant.$ 10,000 - $15,000

ISEED Sponsorship Costs:

Are any of the emerging Christian international leaders you know graduating and searching for their next step?

equip them to discern and prepare for their life calling and make disciples

of Jesus.

*We’re not looking for those who don’t want to go back home and are trying to find a way to stay in the USA.

ISEED runs from August to May and begins with participation in the Fall Welcome Activities to gain insight into how IFI welcomes new international students, in partnership with local churches.

The cover of a cosy mystery novel. The premise of the story starts with a typo in a newspaper changing the advertisement from ‘Senior Sleuth’ to‘Seniors Sleuth’. Hence the falling ‘s’ in Seniors.

Challenge: Representing the story in a picture form without giving out any hints to the story or sticking to a particular scene from the novel.

Page 10: Heena Chow Design Work Portfolio

This logo was designed for a training program under the umbrella of IFI (above). The colors are chosen so that it reflects that connection. The program is designed for young disciples getting trained to be equipped. Hence the use of a acorn in foreground and a full grown oak tree in the back-ground.

The two half circles represents the world and the ‘i’s repre-sent people. IFI is a non profit involved with helping interna-tional students coming from different nations. The logo reflects the mission of the organization.

This logo is designed for a company that installs window and roof treatments for residential and com-mercial structures. The company’s mission is to save energy and offer eco-friendly solutions. Hence the green pallete and the pair of leaves coming out of the chimney shows their belief in eco-friendly solutions.

IDENTITYde ngi

This logo is designed for an annual training day event for IFI volunteers. The logo exemplifies growth and harvest.
