Coping with Conception: A Men's Group for Dealing with Infertility Issues

“Coping with Conception” meets the first Wednesday of each month at the

Beatman Center, 521 W. 239th St., from 7:30-9:00pm. The group is

co-facilitated by Rabbi Steven Exler and Dr. Josh Altman, Ph.D., LCSW. Its

initial course will be 4 meetings, open to renewal. RSVP requested (or for

Are you struggling, to start or expand your family? Are you feeling

isolated even amongst friends? The emotional toll of infertility and

pregnancy loss can be overwhelming. You are not alone.

Infertility: If you are a woman who is currently struggling with

infertility, you are invited to a confidential and supportive space to

connect with other women and obtain and share resources. This

gathering meets in the RJC board room on the 2nd Monday of each

Pregnancy Loss Group (co-sponsored by NechamaComfort): All

women struggling with pregnancy loss are welcome at our gathering

CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITY The Bayit is pleased to partner with UJA-Federation to offer our

members the opportunity to invest in a charitable gift annuity. When

you do so, you receive guaranteed income for life, a potential

immediate tax deduction, and possible future tax savings.

Ultimately, the Bayit will receive 90% of the remainder value, while

10% will go to UJA-Federation to support its efforts for the entire

Jewish community and to help cover the administrative costs of the

the books we need as determined by the rabbinic team

HAZON: The Jewish Intentional Communities Conference is a forum to develop a “community of practice,” where we get to

SEFARIM GEMACH: Newly formed sefarim gemach based in Utopia Parkway Jewish Center is seeking out unused sefarim that

people would like to see put to good use. Sefarim will be sold at a discount of at least 75% off retail price and all proceeds will go

to Tomchei Shabbos of Queens. We will come to you to take the sefarim that we believe will sell. We do not take anything for

Geniza. Examples of the kinds of sefarim that people find useful are the English Hebrew translations of Tanach, Artscroll,

Gemarot, full sets of all Hebrew books, sets of Shulchan Aruch, Shas, Halachah, books on commentaries, famous personalities,

also drop any sefarim you would like to donate at SAR Academy at the front security guard desk and leave it for Rabbi Moskowitz.
