1. Standard 14 oz. Grease Cartridge Loading Instructions: 1. Rotating counter clockwise, unthread the Container Tube from Head assembly one full turn. 2. Grasping T-handle, pull back the Plunger Rod until fully extended (approx. 8 inches). Rod Lock will automatically lock Plunger Rod in extended position.

WARNING: Depressing Rod Lock when Plunger Rod extended releases Plunger Rod which may retract quickly and with force.

3. Completely unthread the container tube from the head assembly. 4. Remove plastic cap from 14 oz. Grease Cartridge. Apply a small amount of grease to inside edge of Container Tube. This will ease installation of Grease Cartridge. 5. Fully insert Grease Cartridge into Container Tube. And, remove pull tab from the Grease Cartridge. 6. Rotating clockwise, re-thread the Container Tube back onto the Head assembly approximately 2 turns; attach loosely. 7. Release Rod Lock by grasping T-Handle and pulling back slightly while simultaneously depressing Rod Lock. Push on Plunger Rod T-Handle to force Plunger into Cartridge. At the same time, pump the Lever Handle to release trapped air. When grease appears at the Head, fully tighten the Head on the Container Tube.

WARNING: Never refill used Grease Cartridges.

Prior to attaching the Coupler to a grease nipple, check the operation of the grease gun by pumping the handle several times until grease flows from the coupler. If grease does not flow after pumping the handle several times, follow To Eliminate Air Pockets / Priming Grease Gun instructions. 3. The Coupler has jaws which snap onto the grease fitting. Push the Coupler straight onto the grease fitting until securely and fully engaged. 4. When operating the grease gun, maintain the Coupler as squarely on the grease fitting as possible. 5.
