I Drove Through the Haze Today
I drove through the haze todayIt was a gray foggy eveningDark mists floated pastFilled the voids along the pathCrept through the treesShowered the leaves with a murky dewSticky sweet and almost nauseousEnough for me to roll my window upKeep my eyes on the road
Look straight on aheadUncertain of what will comeTumbling out through the haze and the fog
