ARTERIOGRAMARTERIOGRAMAn arteriogram is a special X-ray exam of your arteries.

Contrast (X-ray dye) is then injected into the artery while X-ray pictures are taken.

Arteriograms can accurately detect problems in blood vessels in and around the brain, lungs, heart, arms, legs, etc.

A stent is a mesh 'tube' inserted into a natural passage in the body to prevent flow constriction.

It may also refer to a tube used to temporarily holda passageway open to allow access for surgery.

Pacemakers are needed when the heart's natural pacemaker is notfast enough, or there is a block in the heart’s electrical system.
