Leishmaniasis

• Leishmaniasis is a disease caused by parasites spread by bites of small insects.

• When you get injected by the disease, it slowly spreads through out your body and expands ulcer at the cite of the bite.

• This disease is also called “Chiclero Ulcer”

• Leishmaniasis destroys the internal organs.

• This disease causes for 50 to 60,000 deaths per year.

Hiv/Aids

• The rate of Hiv/Aids in Israel is 52.8 cases per million residents.

• Israeal first documented case of Hiv/Aids was in 1981.

• There were 6,374 people living in Israel with Aids as of December 2009
