IS THE ACA - A STEP FORWARD OR BACKWARD?

• Forward: Expands coverage –Medicaid + subsidies

to buy private health insurance.

 • Backward: Gives taxpayers $ to private insurers.

• My conclusion: ACA is a great leap sideways!

 

We must go beyond the ACA to a single-payer system.
