The Henry Schein Cares Foundation, in association with Henry Schein,

Inc., has created a global initiative called The Health Advantage Campaign.

This campaign focuses on wellness and prevention and supports community

health organisations that provide free medical and dental education and

services throughout the country. As part of our ongoing effort to support

the expansion of access to care in dentistry, a portion of the proceeds

Henry Schein Cares Foundation to support the charities featured.

Clean My Teeth Campaign improves the oral health of over 1,000,000 children world-wide. Their simple booklets

make it easy for young children to understand how to clean their teeth properly by educating people, whose role it

is to teach young children - parents, guardians, nursery carers, teachers and varied health professionals - with the

help of child-engaging booklets and the support of the dental world. They work to eradicate any oral health crisis

The Mouth Cancer Foundation and its Mouth Cancer Screening Accreditation Scheme accredits dental practices

that carry out thorough head and neck cancer screenings and demonstrate a visible commitment to increasing public

awareness of mouth cancer. The scheme includes professional development and training programmes, suitable for

all members of the practice, to ensure regular screening benefits patients.

Heart Your Smile strives to change the public’s perception of dentistry, increase attendance and reinstates the

dental team’s position as trusted members of the local community. They aim to take this message to the public in a

new fun way. Using campaigns never seen in dentistry before, based on humour, powerful visuals and collective

effort, this organisation believes they can make a measurable difference.

The Dental Wellness Trust is a dental charity to help those in need and focuses on the preservation and protection

of dental health for the public benefit by:

1) Providing oral health education programmes for children;

2) Providing oral health education programmes for the elderly;

3) Sharing information and disseminating good practice amongst dental health practitioners.

BrushUpUK is a free oral health educational programme that believes everyone should have the knowledge, skills
