TheSignsandSymptomsof aHeartAttackOften people expect aheartattackto be dramatic like it is in the movies. But in reality most often that is not the case. This article thus spells out thesignsandsymptomsof aheartattack. What happens during aheartattack?During aheartattack, the blood flow to theheartmuscle is either reduced or completely stops. This typically happens because of a blood clot that is blocking an artery. When theheartmuscle does not get oxygen-rich blood, it ceases to work. Some commonheartattacksymptoms:

- Aheartattackoften causes chest pain.- There is a feeling of fullness or a clasping pain in the centre of thechest. Most victims describe the pain as akin to an elephant standing on the chest (extreme pain). It usually lasts for about 15 minutes.- One also experiences shooting pain in the shoulders, neck, arm, back and sometimes even the teeth and jaw.- One finds increasing episodes of chest pain.

- Prolonged pain in the upper abdomen.- Shortness of breath.- The victim might experience heavy sweating.- Since thehearts pumping action is severely impaired during a severeheartattack, the victim might lose his/her consciousness.* In rare cases, as in patients who are diabetic, theheartattackmay not be very painful, and sometimes can even be entirely painless.Somesymptomsthat may also appear include: Pain in the abdomen Heartburn Unusual tiredness Nausea Tightness or pain in the neck, shoulder or upper back

Heartattacksymptomsare not the same for allNot everyone who has aheartattackhas the samesymptoms. Many a time, we also tend to ignore aheartattackthinking it might be mere abdominal discomfort due to gas pains or indigestion. If you have more than a fewsymptomslisted above, then you are likely to be having anattack. Get emergency help immediately. What to do in case of aheartattack?Rush to a hospital. Immediately. If you recognise that you or someone around is having aheartattack, get immediate medical help.Give Disprin (Asprin): As soon as you recognise it is anattack, crush a disprin, dissolve it in water and make the person drink it.Emergency numbers: Every office and home must keep a list of emergency numbers like that of an ambulance service, hospital.Aheartattackis different from a cardiac arrest

Do notconfuse aheartattackwith cardiac arrest. In the case of a cardiac arrest, theheartsuddenly stops. It occurs due to an electrical disturbance that obstructs thehearts pumping function, which results in stopping blood flow to the rest of the body.

Sudden Cardiac ArrestHeartAttack

DefinitionSCA is a chaotic electrical condition of theheartresulting in the loss of blood flow to the brain and body. The most common form of SCA is ventricular fibrillation. The medical term for aheartattackis myocardial infarction: a blockage of the coronary arteries leading to a decrease in blood flow. When this happens, theheartmuscles die or become permanently damaged.

CausesElectrical impulses of theheartbecome chaotic due to a blow to the chest or other (sometimes-unknown) health-related issues. As a result, theheartstops beating regularly and begins to flutter rapidly.Plaque made of cholesterol and other cells builds up in the walls of thehearts arteries. When the buildup is great enough, the plaque creates a blockage, known as an occlusion, which restricts the blood supply to theheartmuscle.

SymptomsTypically, there are nosymptomsto SCA. Usually, the first indication of SCA is when the victim faints. The second sign is breathing cessation.Warningsignsofheartattackinclude a tightening feeling in the chest, a sore or numb left arm, lower back, neck, and/or jaw.Othersignsinclude bad indigestion, a feeling that something heavy is sitting on your chest, and shortness of breath.

Victim's ResponseA sudden cardiac arrest victim always loses consciousness from lack of oxygen. The victim of aheartattackis usually conscious and alert.

Risk of DeathA victim of SCA will die unless treated. If left untreated, the chances of survival decrease by 10% per minute.Typically, permanent brain damage occurs within 5-7 minutes. Most victims can recover fully and lead normal lives, but about a third ofheartattacks are deadly. Aheartattackcan lead to sudden cardiac arrest.

TreatmentThe only treatment for SCA is defibrillation from an automated external defibrillator (AED). A shock from the AED stops the chaotic electrical activity and allows theheart's sinus node to resume a normal electrical impulse. One treatment of aheartattackcan be angioplasty, which opens up the blocked vessels with a medical balloon. Afterwards, a stent can be placed in the artery to help keep it open.Other treatments include clot-busting drugs called thrombolytics or nitroglycerin to reduce chest pain.

Prevention: Brain Liver Damage1.No Breakfast.People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.2.Overeating.It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.3.Smoking.It causes multiple brain shrink age and may lead to Alzheimer disease. 4.High Sugar consumption.Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.5.Air Pollution. The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our 20 body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.6.Sleep Deprivation.Sleep allows our brain to rest... Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells...7.Head covered while sleeping.Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8.Working your brain during illness.Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.9.Lacking in stimulating thoughts.Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.10.Talking Rarely.Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.

The main causes of liver damage.1.Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.

2.Not urinating in the morning.

3.Too much eating.

4.Skipping breakfast.

5.Consuming too much medication.

6.Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food colouring, and artificial sweetener. 7.Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.8.Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store. We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to 'schedule.'
